1. DECENTER ROOM/EYE-LICKING
Unlike the other environments, populated by multiple small screens, desktop monitors, CRT-TVs, blinking electronic waste, sounds from old radios, or scattered objects/possessions, in << RESET <> LEARN <> DIVE >>, we are faced with a single large screen in an isolated space enclosed by curtains. The environment alludes to the apparatus of a darkroom that gives rise to movie theaters, inviting us to a less scattered apprehension in terms of sensory stimulation, centered on the big screen, making us reflect on the choreography with which our bodies are accustomed to performing in front of a TV/screen/central observer.
Surrounded by transparent/aseptic clear plastic curtains, we can observe from outside the environment what is happening inside, just like investigators analyzing an inert substance, absorbed by the images framed within a test tube. But at some point, are we truly outside of this test tube? << RESET <> LEARN <> DIVE >> invites us to immerse ourselves in the time of the films it will display. Hypnotized, comfortably distracted in its dominion, while simultaneously analyzing from the outside. Comfortable, until we become alert.
